What do you like about public speaking and training?
The feeling when I see people enjoying their time while learning.
What kind of network do you have at home?
Unifi centrally controlled switches, router and three WAP’s.
1Gbps/100Mbps broadband connection.
Server 2012 R2 Essentials as a home server.
What are your first three steps when securing a Windows server?
1) Set a strong password that is different from other servers.
2) Block Domain Admins from logging on to a server.
3) Deploy IPsec if possible.
Who is more dangerous to an organization, insiders or outsiders?
It’s easier to find trustworthy insiders than know everyone outside of the company.
What is the primary reason most companies have not fixed their vulnerabilities?
Normally because they haven’t had an accident yet.
What scares you the most in the Internet?
PowerPoint slideshows with cute dogs or cats.
What do you think of social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn?
LinkedIn I use for contacts and networking, nothing else.
Facebook I use to communicate with friends.
Twitter I use for professional stuff.
I use and I guess I could say I like them all to some extent.
If there was one thing you could suggest every average computer user to do to improve their security, what would it be?
Don’t logon as an admin.
